Thread: 2012 okie crappie.com tournament schedule

Alright I have not seen a head count thread for the Ft Gibson Tournament or a place that the registration and weigh-in will be at, but due to the fact that this tournament is so close to the time I will be leaving for Hawaii I will not be attending this one after a couple of changes in plans.

I will see everyone at Oologah on the 7th of July though.

We have discussed this between George, Brian, Doug, and myself last Wednesday so be looking for something pretty quick about sign-in and weight in sites.......Ranger

I'll be ready for the Oologah tourney Brian and I'll bring some slabs to the scales. You can count on that. I'm not saying I'll win, probably won't. But I'll have some fish for sure! I'm really looking forward to it. I need to get familiar with the rules. Do we get to keep all the Crappie we catch and weigh our biggest fish? I can't stand the thought of throwing big slabs back just because they weren't in my top fish.

OK, I read the rules and need some clarification. I want to keep all my Crappie over 10 inches for filleting just as I normally do when I go out to fish and only weigh my 7 biggest. I can keep them in a seperate livewell or whatever but I will in all likelyhood catch 50 to 100 Crappie that day and I don't want to throw them back. We can even have a cookout if you guys like and we'll clean and eat them there at the weigh in.

I just talked to Brian and the signup and weigh infor Ft. Gibson will be at Baitmasters. It is on Hwy 51 just west of highway 69. It is on the north side of the road across from Walmart.

Robert, yes you can keep all the crappie you catch. Just bring 7 to the scales.

Dragger you are used to the liberal limits up at the O here on Gibson it is 15 per man so just dont bring in a over limit by mistake !!
