    Default Oologah Tournament

I have arranged for the check in and weigh in to be at Winganon Bait and Tackle Store. It is on Winganon Road about a mile east of Winganon Bridge. From 169 turn east on Winganon Road which is the 4 miles North of Talala. There are 4 ramps in that area of the lake depending on where you want to fish. The Winganon ramp 1 1/2 miles south puts you in Spencer Creek. The East Side ramp 1 mile west puts you in on the NE side of Winganon Bridge. The Allens Point ramp 2 1/2 miles west puts you in on the SW side of Winganon Bridge. The Vada Point ramp 6 miles west and 2 miles south puts you in Talala Creek. From any of these ramps then you can run where you want.

Important changes for this tournament. Check in will be from 530-630 and weigh in will be at 3 pm. This is due to several asking to get out of the heat sooner and I agree. Also the store will have Breakfast sandwiches at 530 along with plenty of minnows and ice. Please patronize Dean's store as he is trying to make this a great place for all crappie fisherman. A special bonus is that he smokes ribs, brisket and all the fixins. Dean said if we would give him a head count on how many were interested in buying he could have it ready to take with you on the morning of the tourney, eat at the store when the weigh in is over or take home with you . Let me know if you are interested in BBQ.

Hope to see you on the 7th!!

Crappie king I found this info for you on the first page of this thread

FISH: A TEAM cannot weigh-in more than 7 crappie and those crappie must be alive when entering the Official Weigh-In line. Once you have entered the weigh-in line, your fish will be counted (7 crappie) and be verified dead or alive. Dead fish will be removed and you may then continue to the scales for your official weigh-in.

ENTRY FEES: Entry fees must be paid prior to fishing the tournament. We will have same day registration at the place designated for weigh-in. Same day registration will be from 630am-730am the day of the tournament. Entry fee for regular tournaments is $50 per team and that includes $10 for big fish. Entry fee to the Classic will be determined at the same time we determine the location of the Classic.

Now I do believe they have moved everything up 1 hour due to heat. Any other questions you have about the rules can probably be found on the 1st page of the thread and I'm sure someone will be along shortly that can better answer your questions as I've never got to fish a tourny yet.

CrappieKing, The info for this tourney is in the post ahead of yours in this thread. Yes you pay at the registration, no membership fee. The rules are on page 1 of this thread. Only changes are the check in time and weigh in time which are highlighted just above your first post.

We as you know are having the Classic Tomorrow on Eufaula and at the fish fry we are going to discuss the up coming year and tournament schudule. It is my belief that our trail will start off in either October or November this year and run 1 tournament each month until May or June next year. No more extremely hot weather tournaments, as the temps heated up the interest kinda dwindled some and I cant blame anyone for that. We will discuss adding new lakes and new challenages for this upcoming season. Such as a 1 pole 1 jig challenage for a tournament. Maybe a draw for partner tourney or a draw for lake tournament. The options are endless and without your input and concerns we cant even come close to making this the best ran fun filled tournaments for the entire family of our Oklahoma Crappie.Com brothers and sisters. So please guys if your interested in this in anyway come and let your voices be heard tomorrow at the fish fry and weigh in at Crowder America. I myself want to have a fun day set aside for our kids, to take them out on the lake with their dad or mother and cater to them for aday on the water. Let them enjoy our passion. I honestly believe we can get a company like Zebco and Crappie Pro to help us on this adventure. We just need your help and for us to all come together..My Thoughts.. We will also be needing new fisherman to help in putting on a tournament on your lake. Its been alot of work for just a very few so please if your interested in assisting and promoting our passion we need you..lol...Good Fishin.....Ranger
