I have an opinion on this matter! If you go by me and I'm fishing either stay on plane and zip by me or slow down to an idle. If your plowing the water it washes you up on the bank. That's why you got to love creeks and rivers with lots of standing timber. No players in the area! But Memorial Weekend is the worst time to be on the main lake. Any lake! EB

My general rule is, if its a holiday we don't hit the water! Unless its to go sit at the boat ramp and be entertained!!

My bad, Boss Hog is Robert. I met Crappie Hog last year at Will Rogers cove.

    Reaper,

My name's Kevin. I'm the guy in the gray SeaArk with the Suzuki Motor. Apparently, I was fishing in a spot where this jerk wanted to fish. He got mad and circled behind my boat very close full throttle and nearly threw me and my kids out of the boat. If I had acted on impulse things would have gotten real ugly. I don't play when it comes to my children. Never seen such madness on the lake.

Watched two fellows pull up within 15yds of a guy and his young son fishing. The father and son were having a ball, and catching some good fish. The 2 guys in the other boat evidently wanted the spot taken by the dad and son, so they started casting their jigs into the side of the dads aluminum boat, making a loud noise with every thump. The dad, thought it was an accident at first, but after about the 8th time he said heck with it and left the area. The two guys moved in and immediately fished exactly where the father and son had been. Sad.....

Fished the oologah area yesterday. My worst day of fishing yet, but still okay. Brought home 14 Crappie and 4 big channel cats that busted my jig in the shallows! Tried a couple of spots on the lake, and only one spot had any fish that would play with us? My favorite area never yielded a fish, but we were told the early bite in that area had been real good. Not as good a day as I wanted, but it was still fun, even though we had to really work to get bit.

If that happens to anyone in the Talala Creek area, please get in touch with me. That Center console I bought can create a wake like no other and I'd love to turn the tables on jerks like that. I would consider it ......being on a Mission from God!

Kevin, that's right. It's been so long since I've talked to you or seen you I had forgotten your name... I hang my head in shame.

No worries Reaper. Glad to know there are still good people around. I enjoy fishing with you. I'm going to play hookie from work tomorrow and get some fishing in. I would like to try my honey hole at Eufaula, but I dread that drive.

Hit these in couple hours yesterday evening fishing stumps in 1-2 fow. The females were spawning and eggs were bloody. Got 2 limits of blues in an hour and half to boot!
