I think Ciller (George) really out-fished me Friday with minnows. There were several times that I was tempted to put down my cast and drag and grab my minnow rod (which I did bring on the trip). That's what I love about the CC tourneys, they really force you to change things up. You can't use the same methods on every lake, or even on the same lake depending on the time of the year. It's a great challenge! This year I have learned how to double dip, fish lay downs and submerged brush with cast and drag, dipping stumps and lay downs, troll crank baits (I never thought I would do that for crappie), slow troll jigs, jig and bobber, and probably a few others. Like I said, it's been fun and challenging. However, I'm definitely not above using minnows. I'm a catcher, not a fisher.
