Nice picture and shoot- if we sacked em every time out I suppose it might get boring! Wish I could test that theory out tho. Thanks for posting TJ.

Man Saturday was tough on the south end hit all my favorites and only came up with 3 dinks. The graph showed most holding tight to deep brush.

Didn't try for crappie yesterday. Went with the intention of it but first cast pulled out a big old bucketmouth. Started at 9ish and bite stayed strong till before noon. Caught and released 24.

Last night headed out at dusk and payed my 5$ at Redbud to fish from their main dock. Just couldn't sit on the couch. It was really windy. I was there until 9:30ish and in that time three people came, felt the wind and left. Ended up catching 14 crappie and 1 sandbass on chartreuse 1/16 oz. stinger jigs. No keepers. All the fish I caught were hitting shallow. Deepest was maybe 5'. I slept good last night.

Started at Spencer at sunrise using minnows, jigs and a cast and retrieve swimbait. Caught on finger size bass. Left and went to the Blue pits around 10. Caught 12 crappie and at least as many bass. Kept 9 crappie. All males, all shallow and all aggressive. One hit a minnow on a cork, one hit a jig on a cork and the rest were cast and retrieve with the swimbait. Can't wait until they act like this in Specer or Talala.
