When I discovered the source of the light, I saw a couple of CDC members out trying to beat me to my honey-hole. Well, it didn't take long to put a nice 14-inch one in the boat. The bite was good, but not as good as Saturday. Just good and steady with some better fish today. Kept 17 and then met up at the landing to see how JIGGS and FOM did for the day. I was surprised that they had a mess of fish as all I heard all morning was FOM losing fish and JIGGS giving him a hard time for it. Heck, FOM couldn't even hook JIGGS boat up at the ramp. When he pulled out I noticed the front of the boat flopping up and down and sure-enough William had let the BOAT come unhooked. Turns out we both had a great morning. JIGGS had a cooler full of fish and William even caught 5 or 6 of them. Had a ton of 9-inch fish that went back swimming this morning and only 3 or 4 that were real dinks. Snapped these pictures at the landing and headed back to the office.

Nice pics, Barry....well of the fish anyways!.....glad ya'll got out on such a nice morning and caught some fish (did ya'll let the air out of Butch's trailer tires?) Good talking to you as well....hope things at work ease up for ya too. I'm not sure what we're gonna feed our cattle (besides hay) 'cause feed prices are getting rough. Maybe they'll take a liking to fish scales.........

Good report with some nice pics. It is great to see that the bite is doing well and the good fish are moving in too. Hard to beat the average crappie that can be caught there. Thanks for the report

Barry, it's good to see that you had another great morning on the water. Those are some nice pics from the daylight picture up to the slabs youre holding.:thumbup Looks like Jiggs has some good fish too. But for the life of me I dont understand that thug being held up unless that's all William can catch.
Did your uncle make the trip today?

You KNOW that when you leak out any info as to where the fish are biting them locals will root you out of your fishing hole so you gotta keep all that kind of information just between the two of us. And Keith, I have been working for a living the past few weeks (well, days) so letting the air out of my tires will probably have to be done at the house once you get my boxer to liking you some. I will say tyhis though...I need a gov't job cause it's becoming very apparent to me that those guys have it made in the shade since theyre working for Uncle Obummer. We ALL need jobs that we can drag in @ noon and work til 3PM and call it a full day.

And William, what's up with not catching much of anything? Have you been guiding so much that youve forgotten how to handle a rod and reel anymore?

Just having some fun with you guys.:p Congrats to all you guys. I just hate it that I wasnt a part of your party today. If anyone is fishing Saturday (as I HAVE TO WORK tomorrow) maybe I'll see you there. Bring your sammiches and we'll do (an early lunch) and meet and greet (when it gets hot)!

Butch, he was a no-show....you know he's like FOM, doesn't work very much and ain't used to getting up I guess. FOM was yawning all morning...ha!ha!. Course, for all the fish he put in the cooler, he might as well have been asleep. If you don't believe me, just ask JIGGS. He told me at the landing that he took FOM fishin'...he didn't take him to raise. :=). Lord willing, I will be fishing Saturday, though I have been duly warned by my wife that I can't keep any. She'll be at the beach, so I guess I'll have to referee for myself. Be careful of that BIG HUMP out there where you're fishing. I gave JIGGS and FOM a good belly laugh today when I hit it with my trolling motor and had to re-tie 6 poles. William, you know I'm just kidding you, buddy. It was GREAT to share the water with like-minded friends this morning. I truly enjoyed the fellowship.
