    Default Spinning reel

Looking for a replacement spinning reel for my jig rod (the one I use to cast jigs with). Was wandering what some of you guys were using and what I might be overlooking in my search. I want an UL spinning reel with a capacity of like 110 +\- yds 4lb. mono. Needs to have super slick retrieve, cast well, good drag(prefer front drag), smooth bail operation. Oh, and spend less than $60 That's about it, I have looked at the Pflueger President Series, it was pretty nice for $50.

Check this one out at Academy. It's the rod combo I use when single pole fishing. Had two of them but lost one to the river,,,, it happens

Thanks stumphunter, sorry about your rod. Those you suggested are similar to my downliners(cherrywoods with quantum reels).
I have a 4'10" B&M slabtail rod and was just looking for a replacement reel for that particular rod.

I was also gonna suggest an Optix 10 reel. They hold a good bit of line but you could add filler to the reel first. Theyre only a $20 reel but seem smooth enough for me. 'Course I dont know what a $60 reel feels like either.

The Pflueger is by far one of the smoothest reels I've used...but I've only got one of them in my arsenal. The Okuma Centrific was also a very smooth casting reel. Don't think they market the Centrific anymore though. You can still get a Okuma Avenger for under $40.00 and it's not bad.

I bought a President earlier this year and really like it. Very smooth. I took it to Canada ane gave it a workout on Walleye and Pike.

Walmart sells a Mitchell Avocet for about $25. They are really good reels.

Thanks Gabowman, those are exactly what I have on my cherrywood rods except they are the 20 series. They do work and perform very well, and I have considered them.
