temperature gauge that gives the temp for a certain length of time, and this way you do not have to watch it all the time,u can check and tell if where u are headed is getting warmer or other way to help find better water temp

Have noticed but never used this! Looking forward to the answer, so I can learn something for today! Genec's post above seems logical to me. Had to look it up and won't give away the answer! I can say HB has a less than ideal explanation of said feature, at least that I could find.

+1 what genec said........it can help you see temperature trends that could be especially useful in spring to find the warmer water and more active fish.

x2! and it is just a guess. Can't logically think of another way to derive at it. Well after looking a little more, I don't think it is that simple! Guessing again, HB takes initial reading add's +10 above and -10 below and charts in between?

Agree with Redge.....plus/minus 10° of the average temp
