Have you considered a Duramax? I've got 210,000 miles on one now. I had 225,000 on another that the tornado destroyed and had very few issues with it also.

I have heard good and bad things about the Duramax as well, like the service manager said at Ford, with all the new diesels, gas burners now you either get a good one or a bad one. So seems consistency is the problem now days in producing quality engines, out all the engines produced I hear the least complaints from Cummins owners. Sounds like you have good luck with them, if the Cummins doesn't work out I will definitely look into the Chevy's / GMC's. Thanks

Man that's not right. I had a problem with a new Ford I got in 1992 came from the factory sideways lol I fault with them for 6 months then I called my congressman thirty minutes later Ford called me two weeks later truck was fixed. They had shemed the core support wrong. But give your congressman a call might help

I spent 9 years working for an RV dealer that would sell 1000 or more units a year. Each of these would usually be towed from Indiana to our dealerships...Once in a while we would run a survey in their preference in tow vehicles...Usually it ran Dodge, Ford ,Chevy. Keep in mind they would tow all trailers from short to 38ft...It is unbelievable the amount of miles some of these guys had on their trucks.
