I'd like to participate here a little more, I just haven't been out too much. I don't have many problems with the SI when I have used it. The lake up here are pretty devoid of much structure. When I finally do run over something it sticks out like a sore thumb. From what I have seen, I would think that the sea wall wouldn't show up as much of anything. I ran along an underwater rip rap wall last week and it pretty much showed up as some wavy lines. I didn't get any pics of it though.

Go to your structure page the new options will be there u can use the hold
Hold pages button to program each window

Crappiegirl I haven't had a chance to get on the water with my boat but I will let u know how it works

when you have the "3" windows displayed and one is sonar and one is say structure scan di or si either one next to it, you will find that the display of the structure scan moves much faster than the sonar window. the only way to regulate this is to put the sonar on 2x. i confirmed this with lowrance tech support today. ask them if they did not think that was a kink that needed correction-answer "not really". i said well in my opinion it is, could you please register a complaint. on the other hand i thanked him for the 3 screens and said i would manage until they could find time to correct the speed. he said not to throw rocks and i said i was really good at throwing rocks, and could we move on now to my other question, which was the side scan.
i am going to work with the side scan again tomorrow and then bring it to the forum,for further input from you all.
another matter i brought up to him was finding different lakes on the lowrance map without sitting in it. will work with that tomorrow or sat as well before i bring it to the forum.

the more you play or work with any unit the better you will get at it, so practice,practice. is the key, and read all you can and ask as many questions and you can think of

give us some feedback on how to see "FISH" on the si and what you look for in identifying them. do you use auto or manual set the distance?

didnt make it out today---tomorrow for sure if it doesnt rain, as we had a good rain this evening---well needed!
