Been fishing Blue Mountain for a lot of years. Talked to a relative that lives close by and fishes it regularly. He said the fishing pressure right now is unbelievable. Said it's nothing to see 15 to 20 boats spider rigging and a lot of single polers along with a 30 minute wait at times to load a boat. Hope everyone realizes Blue Mountain is NOT Millwood or Beaver and is only around 2,700 acres and take what they need. Great fishery with unbelievable scenery that needs to be taken care of.

Been fishing there for 20+ years and have never see it as crowded as the last month. I think I'll let em have it for a while. The Petit Jean is not very wide with a big crowd and goobers running on pad or (sometimes worse) half pad I'm afraid there is going to be an accident. If you are fishing the river keep your head on a swivel lol.
