Roll Tide!!!!
it is shaping up to be a great Iron Bowl.
Well, wait just a minute here. If we count them how Auburn counts then you may be right, but if we just claim anything that could possibly be one sort of like you guys do, then we'd probably have 8-10 of them with the last being in 04 which I'm sure you'd admit was more of a NC than that piece of crap you claim as a NC in 1941. I believe the quote goes something like this "If a Laundry mat in Tuscaloosa wants to award us a national championship, we will claim it". If you can live with it, then I guess I can too. I'll just take 1957 and retire with a little self respect.

We'll see about the victory formation come next friday won't we.

Where in my post did i say anything about a national championship besides 2009.McElroy may not be what auburn looks for in a qb, but he has won some big games for bama in the last two years and he nor his father will put our university in the middle of a NCAA investigation.McElroy was on the news today because he missed out on becoming a Rhodes scholar.he is some one that I am proud for my son to look up to
You referred to the past when you said "Howdy doody is a national champion qb and that is something an auburn quarterback hasn't been since your dad was in grade school." So I basically said you were right unless Auburn chose to claim NC's the way Alabama does or did in the past and then you would be wrong. I included a link to back up a portion of my theory. If anything I've said on here bothers any Alabama fan then go somewhere else and bash Auburn. I'll make no apologies. I've got no problem with the discussing of football on a fishing forum by the way....none whatsoever. But, you guys don't own on this forum and if you think you're going to bash Auburn and all the Aubs are going to sit back and take it, then think again. Go back to post #1 and see how it all got started. Tommy, one day when you and I are fishing together I'll explain to you why I love Auburn and Auburn football and you'll see my point. As much time as we have spent on the water in the same boat we always talk level headed about the strengths and weaknesses of each others teams and have never had a disagreement over football. It takes a bunch of garbage like the first post on this thread to get something like this started.
This thread probably needs to be locked by a moderator before it gets nasty.
