You hit it right on the money,their cheap crap for what they charge.I have 2 suits my wife 1 and they all have torn some how.Pay a little more and get good set.

Don't like em, IMHO they feel like I'm wearing a table napkin. I bought a set last year and have only used them 4-5 times and they have worn alot. I will throw em on If I have to throw a castnet or somethin quick like a passing shower. But I don't like em in the weather we fished in Sat.

Go online and git helly hanson.cost more but ya wont git wet.

Hey Blake, I got a pair on a tip put on here by a fellow criminal who said they were on sale. I must say that I never have had a set of decent raingear up to that point in my whole life, I used poncho-types, el cheapos and wore a garbage bag more than once but I sure like these. I dont live or fish in a tropical rainforest so they get limited use but man them pups keep me dry and I like the features of the zip-up legs, access, all the buttons button, snaps snap, and zippers zip. No complaints here but I have no idea if their durability is par with other stuff, just know with a little care these will no doubt be the apex of my anti-rain career. Dude was right who said they have the feel of a paper napkin but then, atleast it aint a wet soggy paper napkin. It may be that I lived in the Jurassic Era for so long when it came to rain gear that a Halloween costume woulda been a step up, but I LOVE mine.
I have been poured on the few times I have used mine and nary a drop inside, good elastic, set up with the notion that water runs downhill.

I have a pair and I love mine. As mentioned they do have a papery feel to them but that is actually one thing that I like. It helps them breath well. I think that they would be easy to tear but fishing does not present too many situations where they should tear. Even the most expensive set will leak if you put a fish hook through them. I would suggest getting them a little big so that you dont blow out a seam when you sit down. I normally wear an XL but I got mine in XXL to avoid this. I just hike up the pants like grampa wears his PJ's. This actually helps keep you dry as well. You dont get that spot where you jacket rides up and exposes your crack.:D Bottom line, if you need rain gear that you can wear while trecking through a thorn thicket while deer hunting, stay away from frogg toggs. If you want an inexpensive set of rain gear that will keep you dry as a bone while sitting on a boat fishing, frogg toggs are the ticket.

p.s. If you go with frogg toggs make sure to get the stuff sack to put them in. It helps keep the pants and the jacket together for ease of storing and transporting. When it is calling for rain, I just grab my sack of rain gear and put it in my back pack.

Blake these are my second set. Brought the first set and got them home to find they had a rip in the pants. Took them back and the store gave me a second set. The zipper hasn't worked on them until this past Saturday. Did manage to get it up and to tell you the truth they did there job OK. Do like the looks of the rain gear Doc had on. I know they cost a lot more then the froggs but think that is the way I am going to go on my next set.

I got some toggs, spent some money, my buddy came over and showed me a pair of rain gear he bought at Sam's that almost looked identical to my toggs for $25.00, for the set. Kind of made me feel bad, but we'll see if they hold up...

Andy, glad you were able to "get it up" after all this time, although not sure that was the proper time and place:rolleyes:
I have frogg toggs and love them. Pete and I both wore the pants Sat. and stayed dry.
