If drifting is not an option, which areas in the Lower Basin should I hit to make the trip worth while.

I just walked outside and I bet its 30 mph substained wind with 40mph gust.

The weather says 25 mph but its blowing harder than my desk fan blows

    Default Fishing areas...

    Cat,

My best suggestion would be to use the wind to your advantage. Fish the protected side of the shoreline on the south end of lake. If if is not too bad on the open water, and you can cross it, you could try Swan Basin, Moultrie Field, Rat Island, Green Island, or Bell Stumps. Get a good map and like I said play the wind. Most of the fishing should be in 5-7 ft of water.

    Default Monkey...

You better watch out for ole Gator. He been talking ugly about your swoop-n-scoop technique. And something about a bannana tree...not sure what all that is about. I will be fishing in the am. Let ya know what is happening. You seen my Cope?
