on several fish over the last few years. most of the time they drop right off once the fish is out of the water for a minute.
I have caught a few on tn river with them stuck on it. Makes good catfish bait.
I have caught them on crappie in Missouri on Wappapello Lake but I have never seen them on a crappie at Reelfoot. They usually fall off on the deck and squirm around. They leave a red spot on the fish too.
Partner caught a trout last week on white river and Arkansas that had one on it. First time i ever saw one other than pictures. Little bit different than those leaches we carried around TubeMan. Sam nasty result though.

Creepy for sure. Made me think about that northern snakehead that was on the episode of River Monsters. Evidently common in Arkansas with some found in Tennessee. Anyone catch one of those??

Had one , this tuesday at Tellico and 4 two weekends ago , also at Tellico. My partner caught them all . We just call them the " LEECH " ! They do swim very fast !
We see them quite often on Tellico. I would say 1 out of about 100 fish we catch has one on them. So that makes it about every 4-5 trips.
