I'd love to get into that size trolling !! The last tournament we won was on Wylie , fishing the hump in the mouth of catawba , I just wish it wasnt 1.5 hours away & $$$$ in gas !i love wylie , its in my top 3 , the other 2 are the HILL & Santee & ALL are over an hour away <pout> <pout>

surely you must be a Striper fisherman at heart !! LMAO I say this because Wylie has alot bigger fish & easier to find than Murray ( crappie ) Murray the last few years has been better to me than its history ( I grew up fishing Murray ) I guess the thing about Murray that mades it so hard is it is so big & I know it so well that I dont take the time needed to do good without wanting to move to another spot , this is ture esp when tournament fishing ........

I do striper fish (still learning). But most of my fishing is crappie. Murray is just a nice lake with some big crappie, (matter of fact) I think you put me on them last year in the spring. So its your fault I like Murray:D

If I could fish Murray year round wylie would never see me again. I would turn into a all year long striper chaser.

I WISH EVERYBODY would come catch the striper out & never put another one back in !! Yall talk about the perch cleaning the Craps out on Wylie, just be glad that you dont have BOTH ,When those Stripers come in on one of thier frenzy ALL Fish are Fair Game Including each other !!I wish they would drop the size Limit & raise the creel Limit to 50 per hour !! LMAO The State Really pushes the Stripers because it bring alot of people in the state & I Understand that ...least i think I do LMAO .

Another Thing about Murray is that it is SO MANY Crappie fishermen ( trollers mosty ) that live around teh lake , a Few weeks ago there was so slabs being caught in Buffalo ,it went for a few weeks when only a few were fishing them, then a tournament was held & ALL hell broke loose !! I caught 34 slabs on a sunday afternoon, ( 1st day my boat was out of the shop , Took off work on Monday & only caught 27 ,,main reason was it was 27 boats right on top of the fish !! Did I mention they can take a lil pressure ? But 27 BOATS? All Fishing at least 10 rods. I fish 16 most times myself , poor crappie prolly thought they were on an acid trip after looking at all those colors of jigs pass by for 12 hours !

SG, I had forgot who it was that I put on some fish last year , FYI , they have been VERY FEW in that creek this year as of yet ....I am heading back to Greenwood this weekend & leak roumurs about Slabs in Buffalo again at the Local Gas Stations !! LMAO

SG You OWE me some info on Wylie,,,if you see that teh bite is SHO NUFF on with Slabs let me know !! lol
