I would say those are trees. Turn off fish ID and the fish will be gone from the screen.

You DEFINITELY need to get those fish images off your screen and then start learning what it is in your pictures. Was you sitting still? Moving? Looks like it could be some structures off the bottom and there could be some fish also. More than likely those are trees though.

I'm with stump hunter, I think the fish at 14 and 15ft are trees, the fish id have them labeled as fish, looks like a few stumps to the right of the trees with maybe a fish or two close to bottom. turn off fish id first, then if you see something attached to the bottom, it's cover, baitfish will look like a cloud, if the cloud looks like a tight ball there is more than likely predator fish pushing them together, the single arcs you see are predator fish.

If you were on Russell it is very hard to learn what you are seeing because of all the timber. I have fished places there that was showing bait, fish with no bites but you can loose a tackle box of jigs in no time. Most of the time if you are seeing something stacked it is trees there. At times if fish are near you will see them holding to one side of the vertical returns. Bait will be a ball or suspended in the water column. As you ride around watch for things that look different from most of the stuff you see and try fishing those. You will never get a clear picture of a tree or any thing but you will began to recall seeing things over and over again.

The DSI units are awesome, I just put a small Lowrance on the back of my boat and you can see a clear picture of any structure under you. You can get these units for 200 but now I want a bigger screen unit. Got to save for one myself also. Here are a few pics from my DSI
