Got it together with all new freeze plugs and got her started. Purs like a kitten. Runs great. Throws no codes. Love it. Burned all the oil off and ready for the next step. Gotta instal the transfer case and driveshaft. But dinner first. The next step is gonna wait.

When I started it the third time it all the sudden came up to a perfect idle and ran just like a Timex. It was awesome. Have I said before, I love this stuff.

Air/Idle Control Valve does wonders. Expect a O2 Sensor to tell you to replace the Converter down the road. I hope it doesn't but I've drug my fair share of 4 wheels out from under a tree where it's been for 2-5 years. Seems most that are FI with O2 Sensors end up with Converter issues. Like your project my wife sees me drag stuff in my shop with the Bobcat the junk yard won't take for Scrap Metal. The Mercedes had not been on the road for over 2 years, I gave the kid $1800 for it.
