Carl Jones does make some good jigs. I used them until I started tying my own. Learning is easy, and it's more fun to catch them on something you tied.

Several of us use Mikes Custom Baits and Timmy Tom Jigheads. Both are great guys, yes they are from just across the state lines. Mike is in Bolivar, MO and Tim is in Arkansas. Someone post their info please I can't get my phone to pull them up where I am currently at.
