Just sad some peoples lack of respect. I'd have pulled behind you.

Sometimes respect has to be taught. I was snagging spoonbill below Kaw one time and had such a conversation with a guy. He and a friend were at Miami snagging, and people would commonly hook lines with a guy across the river. One would let out line to the other side and the guy would untangle them, wave and toss the other guys back in the water for him to reel back. If too tangled the guy untangling would cut his, and send back the guy across river his rig intact. His buddy hung up with a guy, and let him have line. The guy cuts his buddy's line, tosses his hook and sinker in his bucket, and goes back to snagging. His buddy tells him "Watch my rod. I'll be back." He drives around to the other side. Has a brief conversation with the guy. Punches him in the mouth, knocking him on the ground. He retrieves his hook and weight from the guy's bucket, drives back around, and goes back to snagging without saying a word.

Certainly not the right thing to do, cutting in front of someone else. However, remember guys it ain't cancer, so how big of deal is it?

Y'all shouldn't pick on an absentee foreigner. Besides, CC might immigrate back to America some day, at least that's the rumor.

I wouldn't have done that, but I surely would not feel bad for the guy who got punched. He deserved it.
