Years ago in Montana, there were two big guys in a boat, and they would intentionally come in and run into the bank lines. They did it only once with my buddy Big Al. He whistled a five ounce weight right between them. They said they were coming in to kick his #####. When he stood up and they saw his size, they left and never again swerved in trying to cut our lines.

I understand this completely. I fish out of a kayak at Thunderbird most of the time and I am constantly having this same problem with jerks out there. you'd think me being in a yak they'd have the courtesy to fish else where due to me having to paddle to whatever location but no they'll pull in close an act like I am intruding on there fishing. Thunderbird is one of the worse places I have seen this problem at.

I believe this is karma in action dadgummit. When I was a kid, fishing sneak in ponds all the time I was the only one of our group who never ran when we saw the owner coming. I always figured they would go harder on me if I ran and then got caught so I hung around to shake bass off the stringer and face the music. When the farmer inevitably asked for my name I always said Dennis Sherwood sir. Dennis was usually one of the runners and his dad got a few calls. Took a while but I guess this little indiscretion has come back to bite me on the hindquarters! I imagine most of you have a similar tale of your misspent youth. Still plan on immigrating back to Green Country on Feb. 5, 2015. Sounds like I better learn some Philippine martial arts by then.

I know Dennis, I would have said the same thing!
