I was able to take Oddie and his son on a little cat hunt over the break. Fishing was slow, but i was able to get him slimmed up. I did not get any pictures of him, but maybe he can post a picture. I was supposed to only be able to fish till noon then split. My appointment got canceled so I was forced to stay on the water with good bait. I called Reaper. I exchanged Oddie for Reaper at the ramp. The fishing was slow and small, but steady and consistent. I brought Oddie back with 17 balls of slime and Reaper back with 20 balls of slime. It was great to take father/son and then a buddy!

Always good to get out with friends, especially if there are youngsters along.

Nice picture of the fuzzy guy. He is kind of like Bigfoot- elusive to photograph- very shy but I see the slime drew him out.WTG.

I told TC when he called that he'd be gettin the better end of the trade trading me for Odie. I'm way purtier! I appreciate Ledge giving me a call on that day. I've never been fishing with anyone where my soul job was to crank in the fish. He caught the shad, baited the hooks and cast them upon the water. Oologah had some serious rollers going on that day but riding the Ark,, I was worry free. The man has the right ship for the job. Had a blast TC! Thanks! (Doug, git you one of these hairy chin thingys and you too can be as pretty as me)

As for Crappie fishing, Oologah is in the strangest pattern I've ever seen. Fish are still shallow and not grouped up at all. I launched today about 1:30, caught around 15, 5 would keep and all were in 8' of water or less. Go figure. They have been consistantly shallow for some time now.

Odie- thank you for cleaning up the threads again. Should have known you would be the one to take on this odious task. ( sorry about the pun which I tried to resist but was unsuccessful) I do appreciate the mods efforts to maintain a clean forum in every way.
