Well, I guess it wasn't just me. It may be that the frequent muddy heavy flows limit the crappie population.
nope. it looked like all gar and shad to me. Nothing i drove over said, whow, this is the spot!! for the guys that fish the river on gibson, you know the small stretch of river where the ox bow cuts through, just north of what i call party island, how all the gar seem to congregate. that is what it looked like to me above the water and below the water. my side image was stacked with toothpicks.

Raining today, guess I'll go tomorrow. Caught these last Monday. Same bite, brush piles 13 to 17ft, jigs and minnows. Jigs caught the most fish.

Nice job! Looks like you could give some lessons on those Oologah crappie! That may be the best fish pic off the big O, I have seen this year!

Thanks Redge, I'm sure there are lots of guys doing the same, just seems like they're a little camera shy on Oologah.
I look forward to joining you in February Whisperer- thanks for keeping them warm for me. I was beginning to think that Oologah had gone dry. It's a long drive to Kansas!
Good one Achiro!
See George, that is why I always hold up the fish!
Lol Fishers! I still think you are auditioning for a hand model gig! Maybe he could hold up some of your products Redge!
