Fished with client yesterday from 8am till around 3pm. We found a the fish still scattered and some relating to wood while others were just cruising above shad schools. Technique was double dipping crappie kickers in several colors with buster brown and black/chartreuse being the hot colors. Dow was from 12'-18' depending in shad. Wt got as high as 54 in the afternoon. Ended with 29 crappie 11" and bigger. Great Day With Joe n David......Ranger.

Fished today from 9:30-4:00 and kept 44. Fish were 10-13ft in 12-14ft. Caught them double dippin beaver bottom baits on Huckabee rods. Lots of people out catching fish today. WT was 54-62 EB

Ken Huckabee got me onto those beaver bottom baits. They have gotten some very nice fish for me (and he's a really nice guy).
Unfortunately, we didn't get to fish today; but, very fortunately, we got to drive to Tulsa and watch grand kids play baseball and basketball, followed by a family dinner.

I only fished with him once, but he said he was Todd Huckabee's father. And I wish I weren't a poor boy, or I'd definitely have a Huckabee rod or two. I've had the opportunity to handle one, but never a chance to catch a fish on one.

I got hooked on them fishing once with EB .Had to buy one and it is the greatest rod that
I have ever felt the THUMP on !
