Fished yesterday and it was tough, fished probably 35 spots and only kept 7. The bites that we did get it didn't seem like they would hang on to it. Idk if it was the shock of the cold snap or what it was it was 34 when we launched. Ended up being a nice day tho. Hopefully I will have a better report next time. EB

Went down to the dock to fish Saturday afternoon. As soon as I got on the dock and that strong North wind hit me in the face, I got right back on the golf cart and went back to the trailer and put more wood in the fireplace. I still need to add more tarps on the dock to block the wind from the North. I've got the West and South side pretty well blocked which makes it very comfortable when it's windy.

Got back on the water around 9 this morning and after a chilly ride started scanning down the rock banks. What I found as it was last week the fish were still along that 13' ridge. Scattered all along it with a few suspended at 9'. As the sun got high they moved deeper and into 15'-16' Dow. Still had to make contact with the bottom to get bit. Had a surprise around 3 when EB crawled into the boat for a few hours of fishing. Had to get his elbows limbered up after a tough day of fishing. We ended with 28 keepers and threw back several 10"-11" fish as well......Ranger

Did you give those 10-11" fish directions to Toon's Dock and point them that way cause he needs some assistance to get away from the fireplace! Nice report Ranger but I'm having trouble locating that 13' ledge.

Was invited today to tag along with my buddy EB back on Eufaula. We were double dipping rap in 13'-14' Dow. At times you could get bit moving faster than a crawl by gps at about .05 and at times they wanted it just sitting there. Wood was a plus at times also. 10' Huckabee Rods, Crappie Pro Heads in 1/4,3/16,and 1/8, Fle Fly Crappie Kickers and GoGo Minnows in Brown Pumpkin/Chartreuse and Black/Chartreuse, and EB also caught some on Black/Pink Mikes Custom as well. Great day with a good friend. Kept 30 really good fish and could of kept 50 if we wanted those 10"-11" fish........Ranger

We launched at noon and loaded up at 3:45. Didn't really have to do anything really special but get out of the wind the best you could. Lots of fish in that area right now. Had a great day catching fish. Mark and I live 10 min from each other and don't get to go near enough. It sure beat the day I had Sunday man it was tough. EB
