Nice report Toon.

slow going for me on the north end. ended up marking brush instead of doing much fishing.

Finally caught some saturday on the lower end, kept 12 and a flathead, all came off of wood piles about 8 to 12 ft, water temp hit 53 by the time we left. Marked lots of scattered fish, still just a slow bite, the ones i cleaned had eggs so hopefully it wont be too much longer before they turn on good.

I did notice a couple of weeks ago how many that I cleaned have eggs in them. I was hoping this was a good sign that the spawn is not too far in the distant future.

Slab Addict, thanks for the info about the lower end. I never got a chance to fish at the dock this past weekend. I took advantage of the nice temps on Saturday and got some work down around our lake place.

I spent 2 hours cleaning/buffing 1 of the logs on our pontoon boat. Here's a "before" and "after" set of pics.

YUP, but I predict the early spawners to start their prespawn pattern within a couple of weeks for the areas towards the OK/Tx line.

Reaper- It's gonna have to be a lot warmer before that happens on oklahoma/tex line. I agree but I think more like 3 weeks.
