Kirk they will not be below the thermocline. Under the thermocline there is little oxygen so look at just above the cline. In Tenkiller it should be somewhere from 20' to 25' depending on the area of the lake. I would concentrate on channel breaks on the edge of the channel drop offs....most of the crappie I would be catching wpould be in the tops of wood or rocks in 16 to 24' DOW...or in the tops of trees no deeper than 20' from the surface.....Ranger

Redge get over the channel and bump your sensitivity up until you see a column of fish. I scuba dive Tenkiller and let me tell you that you freeze your butt off deeper than 25 feet EB

Thanks EB, we do find fish a lot of the time on the channel transitions, only problem we have is getting them to bite.
Still having a great time, with lots to learn.
Killer is down, and now is a good time to mark a lot of new structure, that you can really see.

It seems the hotter it is the more we find! This summer and last year the worst.

They may be trying to find a cool spot just like we are.
