Well went out today. Water was a little rough for my little boat so I just fished from the fishing dock at little ax. Only caught 8 or 9, biggest being about 6 inches. Most were about 4 inch. I was using minnows about 8-10 fow. Was hoping for a few keepers, but not this trip.

I was the Little Axe dock Sunday morning for about an hour until the crowd came in. Landed 5 with only 1 going 12". Gave it away. I don't know why people fill the need to lob their dinks back in the water especially right where you are fishing.

went out this weekend and 3 of us managed to catch about 25 but not 1 keeper! It was still fun but would like to find some good eaters one of these days! lol

was out on the boat Sunday. Hit several good spots only two keepers. The water is back up and dirty hope it settles back down was marking fish but they weren't taking minnows or jigs.

Can't believe the bird is above elevation. Been years since I seen that!

Any recent news crappie action on Thunderbird.

Caught about 20 last week on standing timber all around the lake fish were scattered most were dinks though only had 4 keepers 10 inches or better. TONS of 8-9 inchers in there.

Caught a gallon and a half of fillets last weekend in areas that had 10 to 12 ft of water anywhere from 5 foot down to 10ft. Around structure minnows and jigs work the same except for the minnows produced the bigger slabs.
