We lunched at hog creek and hit those trees and stumps just north and east but nothing at all Saturday morning
I'm not a skilled fisherman but have been going to thunderbird for years just tubing and skiing but have kids old enough to fish now and want to let them experience some fishing

Seems like the lake is very muddy right now

Are the fish biting and would a good fish finder help me get on some fish

    Thanks
This thread has been quiet lately but usually there are several members that fish t-bird regularly and will share thier reports including locations related to landmarks so a finder is not necessarily needed. So keep watching and good luck.

Well, the lake was like a washing machine this afternoon with all the boats getting their Spring run. Fisherman's point was a little crazy around 3:00 this afternoon. Almost needed a boat ramp traffic controller to get in or out. Water temp was 58 this morning and around 62 this afternoon. Needs to warm up a little. I though for sure they would be shallow. But no, I finally found them right off bottom in 17-20 FOW. Caught just under 10 in my final hour (2:15-3:15). All of them were dinks. Nothing worthy of keeping. Lake level has risen probably 3' over the past 6 weeks. Hope the fishing gets better as Spring temps warm up and storms subside.

I started to go Sunday after work but work got extended and I figured with the nice weather it would be crowded.....so I waited until today. Work AGAIN got extended then a call came to pick up my grandson after school. Tomorrow Im going after work! Chuck, I thought they would be shallow also. My plan was to hit some shorelines back in some coves. Thanks for the report...b49

Hey boat, Did you get to go or did work spoil it again? I hope to get back out there in the next few days, if this DANG Winter will give way to Spring!!!

You're right on the weather! I got out to the marina about 2pm and fished until 6. Caught around twenty, all dinks except for 2. Didnt find any shallow. Caught most of them at the marina 7-10 ft down in 15 fow. A couple of other guys showed up around 4 and one was using minnows and he was catching5-1 over his buddy using jigs. Water temp was 63
