Finally made it out to tbird yesterday. Fished from about 230pm to 5. Caught about 20-25 of which most were in the 5-6" range but did bring home 6 that were all over 10 with one 13.5". Calm winds and sunny skies made for a nice afternoon on the water. Cant beat that for Dec.

I took the boat out the Tuesday morning for a bit just to run it, and I put in at Fisherman's point with no problem. Hog Creek is still open as well. The marina ramp and sentinel point are both dry now. don't know about the others. Only fished around the cage for about 15 minutes because I didn't have time. Not many fish there at the time but it's going to be out of the water pretty soon. Water is about 7 1/2 feet low as of Wednesday. If you search Lake thunderbird lake level, It will usually be about the first thing that comes up. Hope that helps.

Going to get out to tbird this weekend and do what I didnt do last time the water was this low. Get the boat out and go around and mark some of the stickups before the rains come and cover them back up. Trying to be opptomistic about the next few months receiving some rain.

    Hey Boat

I was out there all day today. I was mainly drifting for cats but I did drop a minnow and a jig occasionally. I caught 2 blue cats. 1 pan size and 1 that was 26" and 7.6 lbs. Crappie were not hitting anything in 22'-25' fow. I did get a report that they were biting at the cage or over brush in 15' fow. Have fun out there this weekend. Good luck.

Back out on T-bird yesterday. I was drift fishing again for cats but also had a minnow rig down and used some jigs as well. I usually catch a few crappie this way but not one yesterday.

Went out for awhile after work today. Fished the marina for a while then took the boat out and fished a few spots. Had a great time on the water, the weather was great, but caught 0! Good news is I had my grandson and we had a great time without catching anything.

Went out this evening for couple hours. The wind being out of the south I decided to go after the ole Saugeyes. I managed to catch one that was 7.5 lb and 26 1/2 inches. 3 inch white curly tail grub with 1/4 once jig head was the ticket.
