I have been out to Tbird twice this week and have not found them up shallow.I worked it over pretty good around marina area out of my float tube and did not get a bite.talked to two diferent boats that said water temp was 54 and it probably hasnt warmed up with last few cold nights.I also checked dock at little axe and never got a bite.Fished it hard with jigs 2-10 ft water.Maybe the warm weather around Sunday,Mon.Tues.will move them up shallow.When it starts I will let you know.Good luck!
When I was in the cove with the Little Axe dock, I marked alot of fish suspended at 6-10 ft in the deeper water. I caught them close to the stickups out in the middle in the 15-20 ft of water. Tuesday when i was at the marina water was 54 at the surface and 50 at the bottom of my slip in 13 fow

We lunched at hog creek and hit those trees and stumps just north and east but nothing at all Saturday morning
I'm not a skilled fisherman but have been going to thunderbird for years just tubing and skiing but have kids old enough to fish now and want to let them experience some fishing
Seems like the lake is very muddy right now
