That's what I thought since there wasn't a fishing lake license for it either.

Hello, I grew up fishing at Lake Eufaula, but recently moved to Norman and I am not familiar with Lake Thunderbird. I was wondering if you guys could suggest some places that are good for bank fishing, because I am not really sure where to go. (I do not have a boat) Thanks for the help! I am always reading the forums, but this is my first time to post.

I had the same experience with the sandys at the dam on Friday. didn't catch any crappie in shallow. picked up a few in 8 to 10 feet of water but all dinks. going after work today and trying from the bank.

Fished from the bank from about 545 till dark last night. started at twin brigdes but nothing. went down to the marina and caught about 20 in shallow around stick ups and rocks. most were dinks but caught 7 keepers. best bite was as the sun was going down. just casting and retrieving a curly tail. I think it has just started cuz most were males with not much color and the few females were not real full of eggs yet. should be good this weekend depending how much rain we get

We didn't catch any on the south side until about 630pm. then we caught about 6 or 7 in a 30 min span. We had the same luck yesterday.

    Default Lake Thunderbird fishing report.

I have been doing some fishing at Calypso cove and have done pretty good the past few days. This morning was slow and havent really got into anything of good size yet. Has anybody else had any different luck?
