Well after 30yrs of snow plowing I quit last year, tonight I get to do something Ive always wanted to do, Deer hunt in the snow.
Ive been using corn and acorn rage this Fall, but had to mix some rock salt in for this weekend
Also I am glad a finally bought a blind last year, I not quiet hardy enough to sit in my tree stand tonight, lol hopefully I can out due my grandson!

This is the 1st time in probably 25 years I missed a deer with my (cross)bow. I missed a doe last Sat morning. I had 2 or 3 buck chasing some does all around my stand area. The bucks weren't too big so I tried for the doe. That was the 1st adult doe I've seen all year. I was off today and just couldn't muster the energy to go sit in the rain but I'll be there in the morning with my muzzleloader. The one field I usually hunt still had standing corn in it last weekend so I'm hope he just leaves in in for another couple of weeks. Late season will ne good.
I saw some butt head set up a blind about 40 or 50 yards from one of our tree stand which happens to be a favorite for late season. I think he has a new way of scouting. Last turkey season he was set up about 35 years from our ground blind. No class

I think this was the 1st weekend since mid-November I didn't see bucks chasing does. The hunt ended pretty early in the day so I guess they could still be at it.

    Thanks guys.
Funny you said that Tom, I shot that deer early so after I dropped it off at the processors I came home and hooked up the boat and headed to EF.
