All I'm getting in close is some little guys. I had a really cool 8 point last week with a drop time under me last Monday morning. He was 3 or 4 yards away and didn't have a clue I was there. He was a young deer and I though if he makes it through this year, he be a beast next year. I've seen 3 shooters this year but 50 yards was about the closest I had any of them too me.
Maybe next weekend.

This weekend is the 2 day Youth gun season in Ohio and it looks like Sat night it will drop to 19 degrees with a high of 32 Sunday, this will keep them moving I am sure. I took My 16 yr old Grandson last year, He shot a large doe the second day but missed the kill zone, We are hoping for better results this weekend. By the way great deer pix guys, Ive bow hunted now for 3 yrs without a kill, I commend You guys on your archery skills.

The 1st one is the hardest one to get while bow hunting after you get that one out of the way, they get easier.

Here is a pic of my Grandson and his first deer taken tonight, as nice 6 pointer, as You can see his cousin and half brother along with me his grandfather are very proud. Funny thing is he was as cool as could be, me.... as nervous as a whore in church! go figure

Thats what its all about.. Congrats to the grandson on his first buck and congrats tom for getting him started!!! Those memories will last forever...
