Thread: please keep the prayers coming

So just when we thought everything was going to be ok with my father, he was rushed to the hospital the other night at 2am with trouble breathing. his airway was swollen to the point where he was basically breathing through a drining straw. The local hospital said they were not equipped to handle it and transfered him to university hospital for emergency surgery. So as it stands now he is back to having a trach, not being able to talk, and the worst part is the family doctor said his ct scan showed possible pneumonia and he wants to do another PET scan cause he saw a spot on the top of one of his lungs. the cancer doctor at UC says they will wait around a month to do the scan cause too much swollen tissue would show up now but everyone has agreed to not tell my father fearing it will affect his current recovery, but i have a hard time facing him knowing there is the possibility.... i know life is never easy, but we just cant get a damn break.
