Let's see a few of those 23" you caught. I really hope you weren't whoppering us. I'm trying to talk Pops into heading to Acton for crappie or bass. A few pics might help me convince him. Saugeye pics would help as well if anyone has any from Acton.

Do you need a lake stamp like at Brookville or will the State one we got at GLSM work for any Ohio lake? Stupid IN make you buy a new one each year. I think it will but I'll get a response quicker from here than if I Google it.

no sticker, your good for acton.
It is trolling motor only however.

he might be streching it a bit, but no suprise, as many muskie as he has eaten, its no wonder thats all thats wrong with him.
There are plenty of good fish, basicly all brands, in acton, great year for the crappie size, bass are definately on an up-cycle. Have seen 23" and bigger weighed in, your average fish will be 14" this year.

Thats the dude from Bass pro in the Pic, yeah the same one who caught the 23" crappie, lol....... hey You guys been asking me to post pix, but I have gotten a headache trying to figure out how to get them on here, is there a easy way? I fished down in Ky on a beautifull lake last week, caught a nice smb too and wanted to show it off but I couldnt drink enough beer to figure out how to transfer them from photobucket!

    From photobucket it fairly easy.
From the photobucket album page click on the pick you want to copy. It will enlarge the pic.
To the right of the pic it will list 4 different options to copy. Left click the IMG code. It will say "copied".
Now go back to your "reply post" and right click in reply box and from your list of options, choose paste & left click. The IMG cope will copy. Once you post your reply the pick will be there

It easiest if you open 2 windows to do this; window 1 = photobucket, window 2 = crappie.com post.
If you still can't get it, pm me your ph number and I'll talk you through it.

Man-O-man does that lake look good. We were there for Thunder in the Woods on Friday and really wish I'd brought a pole. Saw a guy pull out a bass close to the lodge which just made it worse. Right under the docks but I wasn't allowed to bring my pole since we had the wife's new car. Although I'm getting a hitch installed on it. Why have a Pathfinder when you can't or don't use it!

GLSM was brutal but Pop did manage to land a 2 ft snake on a wacky wormed rig. He said it took him 2 minutes of dropping it on the ground before it let loose! We only caught a few gills but the lake was like green glass. Awesome fireworks! Green water doesn't discolor the reflection.
