Good luck! I hope it works for you! I discovered my batteries were low after a windy day on the water! Filled them up and it took 2 days of watching and checking before I got a green light again! I won’t let that happen again!
My batteries are hard to get to, even with a turkey baster. Found this at FishUSA, Looked like it would work better than anything I had seen. I have less than $45 invested, and figure I saved more than that today. Cranking battery was the lowest, esp on the positive side. Hose connected to a water bottle from WM did the trick. I threaded the water spout and screwed in a hose connector. Turn it on at the bottle, insert the battery filler In a cell, press the thumb valve, fill until the ‘eye’ turns black. It’s full. Some cells I couldn’t see the eye, so it was fill and check until it was full. Easy enough. Thing about it, I was able to reach all the cells with this.

This works even better...do not have to remove caps or even look...do all cells...even on two batterys all at one time. Qwik-Fill Marine RV - Flow-Rite Controls

I had the same problem. To get to my #3 battery, I had to take out #1 and #2. I hope not foolishly, I just installed 3 group
31 AGMs. I can't get on my knees and one hand them out anymore. The 2 trolling motor batteries are 30 month free replacement
and the starting battery is 48 month free replacement. If I made a bad decision, the theres no fool like an old fool will apply.
Tell'em I'll be there.
Looks like a good idea CP. My problem is not only getting water to the battery without having to move it, but also not being able to see down into the battery to tell when it's full. How full is full? I've always filled my batteries up to the very bottom of the black plastic tube that goes down in each cell. Then when I bought my last batteries, the battery guy told me I was overfilling the cells, causing them to boil over. He said about half way from the plates to the bottom of the tube, or whatever that's called.
I hate to say this on here but your battery guy is dead wrong.
Batteries should be fully charged before adding any fluid, then should be brought up to the very bottom of that tube or to edge of plastic over the plates. Unless your charger is overcharging you should never have any boil over or boil out. Secret is fully charging before adding water.
