Just reread this post. I said nothing about a season only during the spawn. I said I was for reduced limits during the spawn.

Actually the restrictions are in place to protect the male flatheads, they are the brooders and protect the fry after hatching, not the females, thats why you can only have 2 under 25 inches.

gotcha.....didnt know that. so are these restrictions still in place?
