Red, I think we could have a smoke off and no one would have to slave over a fish cooker all afternoon.
I nominate myself as a judge for the smoke off.
Lets go soak a line. Pat

Guys , I will have a load on me again this year. Am still cleaning up my Mom's house after the tornado, and getting it ready to sell. She has alzhiemers, and I had to put her in assisted living.. It has been a nightmare adjustment period. Either my wife, or I have to be home at all times... Instead of camping for a week, I will be lucky to stay the three days I have booked . I do not feel I will be effective, if put on a committee, but will be glad to work any that I can to help out. Hope you understand.

May be worth a look to see how many of the local regulars your going to loose to Crappiemasters. You have a lot of good local fishermen that may be on the other side of the state.

Also, if the FJ stop fishing time is 2:00 and the weigh-in cut off is 3:00 like normal then a fish fry would be out of the question. By the time you finish the weigh-in @3:30, rush back to the cabin/campground and drop off the boat and pick up the items you committed to bring and race to the pavilion, your looking at 4:00 to actually start cooking and would be eating between 5:00 -5:30. Is that what you have in mind?
