    Default Plummer question kinda

Bought a new washing. So, when I tried to remove the old hot water hose, it was corroded on. I can't break the connector loose. I have tried wd40 and liquid wrench to no avail. Any suggestions?

The hw pipe is pvc. I am reluctant to put too much torque on it. Besides, I don't have much torque left in me.

Got a Dremel tool with a cut-off wheel? I would be very careful and try to cut a couple of threads thru and try it again.

The hose connections are in a small recessed panel. I can't get my dremel near the connector. There is no room to bend the pvc or raise the pvc to get to the connector.

It may help to use some heat like a hair dryer to heat up the fittings real good to help loosen it.

You can also try a heat gun, gets a lot hotter than a hair dryer. If you have a Harbour Freight nearby you can get one for less than $10 with their coupon.
I used one to get a stuck hose off my bilge pump. It will get hot enough to melt some plastics and rubber so use caution.

Cut the hose and use a double barb fitting with hose clamps to make a splice in the hose. That way, you won't screw up the connection on the PVC pipe if something goes bad.

Can you post a picture of the connections, be wary of heat around pvc especially if it is under pressure.

Did the hose come off the old washer, is it in good shape, does it leak? Replace the hose end washer and use the old hose.
