When we fished the Dan River...we would put in near the Virginia line...its been so many years I don't remember exactly where. But I do remember a large manufacuting plant nearby....its probably gone to China now...or at least the jobs. We would fish up toward a mill, "maybry mill?"

now there's something I certainly miss.... some good trout fishing

I use to go up to the Dan River a lot and never catch nothing...

so we stuck with Grassy Creek and it's been a couple years since I've been.

Albie, where is that cabin? Is it for rent or private. I am from the mountains, Yancey county to be exact. It has been awhile since I stayed in a cabin on the creek like that. Sure looked good. :D
