Yes it can get crowded at weldon. Several ramps in between allows following the bulk of fish as move upriver. Just like shad numbers downriver drop as bulk move up and then opposite as move downriver. Same as crappie moving DEEP in winter and then as it warms easing into coves and then shallows then to summer haunts then fall places then back to deep
