Welcome Big John from Union County N.C, I believe I have talked to you before and you gave me a good tip on where to find them. I love trolling and love trolling on Tillery. Tillery has always been good to me, just need to spend the time to find them.If you see a big guy in a small Bass Tracker stop and say Hi.

This is Snoopys Daddy, BIG JOHN, channel 68 from Norwood, n.c.
I appreciate your replys for my report on tillery crappie. I guide here some since I retired from the state. I dont mind telling everyone what i am catching and how i do it.

It doesnt hurt you to be a good samaritan to others who are only able to fish once a week, once a month, or just wants to catch some fish when they can go.

I look at guiding as a good remedy for me, I study the species I fish, study their eating habiits and look for what they are eating.

Begining next week, I will be checking out the walkamore that are moving into the flats and of course I will have my #7 rapala jig rap tied on . A hint: Chartreuse color.

Hoping we will get some more overcast weather here as the crappie are more active then, especially
    with a slight ne wind.

Good luck to all. And take a kid fishing.....they will never forget a fun trip.

    Big john

Some places the depths are over 60 ft. Usually in the 40s to 50 in main part of lake
