Thread: Twain Camp

thanks to Robbie for getting this going. I'll be up friday morning. not too sure how early, just yet, but if I have my way we will leave town by 5AM. (not likely!)
I know I am camping at the state park campground, Puma loop, and I think it was site 94, which is right next to the host's campsite.
looks like a good spot for a fish fry or BBQ, I'll have the stuff for both so it's up to you guys as to what we eat...

I still have to check with my wife. Took off for 5 days fishing Tablerock Lake last week and taking off 4 days this week for Truman camp. Also that is our anniversary weekend so I am going to wait till I get back from Truman before I ask for permission. She might be starting a bonfire with my poles and gear. If I can't spend the weekend I will probably run up there to fish on Saturday.

I plan on being down on the 14th, Wednesday morning. I'll be in a cabin at Puma campground just west of where Greg will be. I'll be glad to help Greg just let me know what you think I should bring. I was thinking no more people than it looks like we are going to have why don't we all meet at a cartain ramp Saturday morning and all put 5 dollars in a pot and the big crappie win 3 of it and the biggest non-target fish (advantage measure em unless Greg gets one of his huggers) win the other 2, just to get a little fun going.

a little friendly bragging rights tourney sounds like a good time to me!

Hello y'all I hope to be there with my youngest son on Friday mid morning if all goes well at work. I was down there last year and just as we got to the camp ground was there only about 30min or so and got a call from my wife telling me that there was a family emergency so we had to turn around and go home for that. Was looking forward to meeting you all. So hopefully this year all goes well and we can make it not sure were we will be staying yet if we can make it, but will keep y'all posted.Good Fishing To All

I'll make this a sticky. Never been to Twain but I'd like to go sometime. May just run up for a day or two.

Measure em, The Rancher, and myself will be staying at the Southfork resort. Friday thru Sun. Hope to be up there and on the water by noon. Already packed my chair, and any way or stuff to bring for meals we are game. I will put a cooler of adult beverages on the table this year.

crappie chaser 1, hope you can make it this year. Speck it would be great to see you at Twain camp, I'm sure you could get on the fish pretty quickly. Won't be anything like Grenada but should be pretty good this year.
