    Let's get this puppy back up to the top........... hard to believe but getting close to 2 months out (still ice on the dang lake), frost is deep so my intentions of breaking ground on the cabin addition in February has passed, now hoping for March! Regardless, I'm ready to get outside, pick mushrooms, and fish!

    Since this is the baby brother of the big Truman Camp, I don't see a need to start a list of who's bringing what yet (thoughts)?

    I just need a chair.. All else will fall into place. Anybody know anything about a HDS 8? Hope to see everyone again and maybe be able to fish the main lake.

    OK Ripn......... We'll be at our cabin from Monday morning (5/12) through Friday afternoon (5/16). Whenever you roll into the area, swing by and we'll go through the basics on your HDS.

    Cost = 1 bottle of Seagrams 7!

    Main lake?? If the lake is right, we'll be headed WAY up into the arms!

    Reserved kitchenette C from southfork today only one remaining unit there if anyone else is thinking about it. U that would mean I would have to have it rewired and ready to go the HDS that is. With only 2 months till gathering that is cutting it close but will give it that extra attempt to get it done. Do I get to select the size of bottle?Are you not going to be there during the weekend? Looking forward to it and catman the cattle farmer I brought last year said you would put us on the fish so hope it does not rain 40 inches or so.

    Ripn,

    You can do it........ Dad and I pulled all of the wire and installed our HDS, transducers, etc. in a day and a half! And yes, you can pick what size of bottle (bigger is better)!

    As for the weekends...... the one prior is Mother's Day and Saturday the 17th, my younger sister graduates from Medical School..... I can't justify missing that to hang out with you fool's! Five straight days of fishing should calm the nerves for a bit though....

    Nope measure em is Paul (now a retired guy), Mike is who we are now calling the rancher works with me at the schools. He is the taller stout one that was with us. Paul and I are both plenty stout but not too tall. That may ring a bell but as it looks we will all three be back for more. U. will probably only have time to point us in the right direction as we show up late am on fri. I imagine the rewire is going to happen soon as nice a day as it was today I sure wanted to get after them. Looking forward to it will be good to see all and maybe meet more this year.
