Welcome
Here is an old thread that point out the path at least up to Mecca. Lake levels are supper low right now, so the path North of there should be very slow.

Welcome to the forum. I have seen some of those boats ripping through there but as many stumps/trees that I have clipped up there.I will stay at slooooowwww speed.
The other guys here will help you out. I will have to agree that Steel props hold up better but if you hit something sold they are really hard on prop shafts and driveshafts as well.
Good luck on the train.....I would be williong to be the caboose....
Is there any reason to go north of that tree line. That's some mighty fine fishing right there
dfar that was my idea! we'll have to rock paper scissor for it lol
Ridealong i agree there is some great fishing all around that area but its also the heaviest fished. Was hoping to head farther up to get away from people like me who don't ever go up there!
Do you just carry a spare hub insert or prop as well? I've had to TROLL back to W ramp from those trees cause i didn't have a spare! That was a LONG DAY!

"SUPPOSED to break" is the correct statement. I'm glad yours broke as it did.
Also not all of us have the props with plastic inserts. If I can find the pic of a drive shaft from a 55hp that hit something I will try to post it.
Have a great season this year. Hope to see ya
I just carry a spare plastic insert. I WAS planning to buy one of those fiber spare props. but they quit making them.
I usually carry a spare prop in the truck. I used to carry one in the boat, but the days of me changing one along the bank are a thing of the past.
My spare is a used aluminum as they can be gotten for much less. I know some have the COMP props as well for back up.
At least you can carry the replacement hub that is easier to store.
Like the rock paper scissors plan.
I do like to venture out to areas north of that patch of trees
