Dad and I tried Indian Creek yesterday. We'd had pretty good luck on some farm ponds friday, so we thought we'd have a great day. We even took the Lindy fillet table with us in anticipation. Water was certainly up, but i wouldn't call it muddy, just stained. The ramp at the end of Rt. N was pretty full. After 3 hours of no fish to show, we opted to head home. Talked to a few folks, and some had a few, but nothing to brag about. Think we only saw two fish caught by others. What we really noticed was lots of movement on the lake by boats. Everyone seemed to be looking. We did see the males working the banks in several places. Jigging and using spinners didn't seem to matter. changing colors didn't seem to matter. I think i had one thump, only because my jig slid down a bit. Hope others have more positive sounding reports

Spent Wednesday - Sunday at our cabin at Twain and fished and caught limits everyday.......BUT, we are notorious for beating the water and that's what we did. We tightlined steep banks, jig n' corked, and then broke out the rigs..... caught fish using every method and there was no real pattern other than scattered. I can tell you we touched almost every dang frop of water on the lake throughout the lake, but it was a great couple of days.

Missed out on meeting Greg (South Point) but it sounds like he had his hands full......... sorry bud, one of these days.

My report is the same as Route U. They are scattered! Fished Indian/Little Indian on Saturday. We had to work hard for our 10 keepers.

Fished everyday last week. Had a slow time on the trotlines but did manage one 35 lb. blue. As for the crappie bite, we slammed em. Had several over a pound and the rest weren't far from it. It was one of the best weeks I've ever had. Friday we found some males on the bank that were decent but smaller than the rest of the week. Wanted to get a look at what might be happening late this week or early next week. We caught all of our big fish in 20 to 25 feet of water between 5 and 10 feet deep. the only thing we had any consistent success with was a red and chartreuse jig with a white nib. Also anybody going anytime soon may want to give their motor a drink of clean water when they get home. I've heard water described as chocolate milk before, but the water around south and middle fork was more like chocolate pudding. I'd also like to thank the folks at the merc dealer in Perry. Wednesday a gasket in my lower unit failed and I had milk running out of it when I took it out for a lunch break. I went over to see them about getting it fixed. They were to busy but instead of telling me to come back another day, they sold me the things I needed and loaned me the tools I needed to fix it myself. Saved me alot of money and kept me on the water. I can't speak highly enough of those folks. Hope this is helpful and good luck.

Slammed big crappie all last week in 20 to 25 feet of water about 5 to 10 feet down. Red and chartreuse with a white nib. Gotta hit em in the face. Good luck.
