    Whats wrong with the crappie bite? Talked to some people and they catch them on the bank and the next person catches 12 feet deep. I went out tuesday night and caught a few in 15quincy foot of water about 8 feet deep. Havent had any luck on the banks yet. I was just wondering if anybody has had any luck lately?

    Tax,

    It all depends on who you ask, but in my opinion they are just getting started. I talked to a reliable source who fished Lick Creek last week and said he pulled them off the bank pretty regularly...no size to speak of, but they were there. I would project finding bank fish starting this weekend. Things may have been tough with the Corp. pulling water this past week, which could explain why they backed off.

    I will be at our place over there Sat/Sun and then the following Wed-Sun.......... we'll see what happens!

    Luck to ya'all! in my twain experiences, the last weekend of april and the first week of may are usually the best 2 weekends for the spawn. I hope you guys tear em up! but leave me some for the following weekeend, please. Lol

    Fished today and caught limit in 3 hours. couple of 10 in. everything else 11 and over. The few females I did catch were spilling eggs. They were def ready and could have been on the nest laying.

    They were not right on the bank like everyone has been saying. They were a few yards off the bank near structure.
