Four minor points.
1. The oxbow lakes are still public, the need is free and appropriate access to this public water.
2. Moon Lake does still have public access and a public ramp.
3. When states were given land to become states, they were given the public water also. I don't think Arkansas can give away this "public water" to private land owners. The situation between shared MS and Ark water may have to be addressed at the federal level
4. Add trapping as an appropriate use along with hunting and fishing. Trapping is forgotten as an outdoor activity by many nowadays.

We need an attorny on the board, I worked closely with the MS gaming commission for 10 years while working in the gaming industry in Tunica and know that the "river boats" that are on land floating on barges in man made ponds got by with that when the state boys declared these as navicable waterways since they were inside the river levee. Seems like if it's good for the casino's it's good for the citizens of mississippi we all pay taxes too. I'm great at bugging elected officials just wrote my senators this a.m.. While we're at it lets tackle the land use of the main river levee and lands owned by the levee board, barrow pits ect.. My great granddaddy helped shovel dirt on that big boy and shouldn't it accessable to the citizens of ms.
