I know for a fact mine was fiberglass because my dad hit the corner of a boat dock with it and knocked a hole in the hull. we had to take it to a body shop and have it repaired.Originally Posted by luvjign
Can't really tell about the motor size, but given that the cowling is gone, it does look like it's 40-50 hp..........it looks like a Johnson or Evinrude. Speckhunter, since you had one like it, could this be "plastic", or is this just real thin fiberglass?? Could have had some sort of an inner liner that deteriorated over the years, but what was left of the inside looked like there wasn't an inner liner of any sort......Originally Posted by speckhunter

you wold be suprised how lite those LC are especially with really wide tires like those boggers. I been places folks never seen a vehicle...Heck LanCruiser crossed Africa. I don't think Lake Grenada could be all that bad. I know they ride in Sardis after the water goes down.
Oooo....K, I'm convinced......Bring it on:DOriginally Posted by sac-a-lait

I am gonna side with Rick on this one. When you get ready to go Rick, call me. I wanna go along for the ride. I have heard some stories about that truck.
A bad day fishing is better than a good day working anytime. So says the Perchmaster!!!
When you go Rick, call me, I want to watch with binoculars. ....I know a guy with a skidder too....:D :D
Yea, Rick, folks do ride on certain parts of Sardis. But the farmers with the tractors and long chains make a lot of money when they try to ride on the other parts.
I agree with luvjign, that boat looks like it sitting in the "other part".
A few years ago, a couple of college students stuck a Jeep Cherokee in the early spring. Before anyone could get to it, heavy rains put it about 10' under, and the COE tied a Hazard Buoy to it. It was finally retrieved in late fall with a big wrecker and long chain. I always wondered what the dude told his Dad!
Hey dad, You'll never guess what happened to the Jeep. Its a funny story but.........
